Individual therapy is $175 per 55-minute session.
Group therapy averages $60 per session, depending on the group.
Choosing a therapist is a highly personal choice, and I know how important it is to find the right fit.
That's why I offer a free 15-minute consultation call. There’s no pressure—just a genuine conversation to help us explore if I might be a good fit for you.

You'll ask questions, share what’s been going on and your expectations about therapy, and get a feel for how I work. My goal is always to help you find the right support, even if that’s not with me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Individual Therapy:
HOW MUCH DOES INDIVIDUAL THERAPY COST? My fee is $175 per session, and payment is due at the time of service. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted payment methods as well as most FSAs/HSAs. I do offer a limited amount of sliding scale slots. I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. The best step is to check with your insurance provider to see what your out-of-network benefits are, since you’ll be responsible for anything insurance doesn’t cover.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE? I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, many clients use their out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed for part of the cost of therapy. If you’d like to go this route, I’ll provide you with a monthly superbill—a special receipt you can submit to your insurance company. It includes all the information they typically need to process your claim. Before getting started, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking: -Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? -Is there a deductible I need to meet first? -What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed? -How do I submit superbills for reimbursement?
DO I HAVE TO BE BASED IN CA OR TN? Yes—because I’m licensed in California and Tennessee, I can only work with clients who are physically located in those states at the time of our sessions.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CONSULTATION CALL? We’ll chat via secure video for 15-20 minutes. The point is for you to get a feel of things to see if it's a good fit for you. I’ll answer any questions you may have. I’ll ask you about what brings you to therapy at this time (why now? What’s going on in your life? What changes would you like to see?) Then if both parties agree, we’ll schedule your first session. In this first session I'll gather a comprehensive history. I’ll ask more about you, your history and upbringing, and what you’d most like out of therapy. This will give us a solid foundation to jump off from.
HOW DOES VIRTUAL THERAPY WORK? You’ll get a link sent to either your email or through a text (you’ll let me know your preference). As long as you have a reliable internet connection, we’ll be able to connect and see each other via video. Ideally you’ll be in a place that feels safe and secure and offers privacy to speak freely while we’re in session. We will not be able to complete our session if you are operating a vehicle, if you are intoxicated, or if there is something unsafe happening. You’ll also need to physically be located in California or Tennessee, where I’m licensed. Telehealth does pose some potential risks including possible interruption to connection, technical difficulties, and unauthorized access. I use Simple Practice for all my video/telehealth/client communications which is HIPAA compliant and a secure method of conducting therapy.
WHAT'S THE CANCELLATION POLICY? You can cancel or reschedule by phone, text, or email. Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows will be charged $100, except in cases of emergency or illness. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session will be treated as a no-show. Consistent late cancellations or missed sessions will be discussed, and may result in loss of your regular appointment time. If you are in the hospital and want to have your session, we may or may not still be able to meet. It depends on privacy, if you're stable enough to participate, and the policies of that particular hospital. Ask your Transplant Social Worker about having teletherapy appointments while inpatient.
Group Therapy:
HOW MUCH DOES GROUP THERAPY COST? Group therapy cost averages $60 per session, depending on the specific group. There are two options for payment to secure your spot: -Pay in full for 10% off -Pay for half to register, and payment for the remainder of sessions will be due at the halfway mark to continue participation
HOW DO I JOIN A GROUP? When you see a group you'd like to participate in, reach out and we'll schedule a consultation call to ensure the group matches your expectations and the logistics work for you. The call is free and will be 15-30 minutes.
WHAT'S THE TIME COMMITMENT? Groups are typically 6-8 sessions total, running 60-90 minutes per session. Check specific details on the group you're interested in under the "Services" tab.
